What forked.online is
forked.online is a personal command center for a single software engineer. It is not a multi-tenant SaaS product and does not have public registration. There is one operator (the owner) who controls all data in the system.
Data collected from visitors
When you visit the public landing page, no cookies are set and no personal data is collected. The page may be cached by a CDN or reverse proxy, but no analytics software (Google Analytics, etc.) is loaded.
Public invoice and share links
If you receive a link to a public invoice (/i/:token) or a portfolio share link (/s/:token or /d/:token), the following may be logged when you visit:
- A one-way SHA-256 hash of your IP address (not the IP itself) — used to count unique views without identifying you.
- Your browser's user-agent string (truncated to 255 characters).
- The HTTP referrer URL, if your browser sends one (truncated to 500 characters).
- The timestamp of the visit.
This data is used solely by the operator to understand how shared links are being accessed. It is never sold or shared with third parties.
Payment claims
If you submit a payment claim on a public invoice, you provide a payment reference number, a date, and an amount. This information is stored and used only to confirm payment with the operator. It is not shared beyond what is necessary to fulfill the transaction.
Cookies
A session cookie is set only when you authenticate via a password-protected share link or submit a payment claim. This cookie expires when you close your browser and contains no personal data beyond a session identifier.
Third-party services
Google Fonts is loaded on public pages. Google's servers receive a request for font files; see Google's privacy policy for details. No other third-party scripts or trackers are loaded.
Data retention
View logs, payment claims, and session data are retained as long as the operator deems necessary for their own records. You may request deletion of your submitted data by emailing the address below.
